Cyber detective OSINT tools Newsletter #3(2023)
Hello, dear subscribers! Thank you very much for staying with me!
In this newsletter I will briefly tell you about the most, in my opinion, interesting updates in my projects in the last two weeks (February 23 - March 8).
Tools for video analysis

In this thread you will learn how to extract text from video using neural networks, automatically find keyframes of video, identify deep fakes, extract metadata from video and much more.
You can find the tools from this thread in my collection of #osint tools in the sections: Social Media -> YouTube, Video editing and analysis, Image editing tools https://github.com/cipher387/osint_stuff_tool_collection/.
Nuclei for OSINT
Nuclei is a very fast and easy to use universal network scanner. It was originally developed for pentesters and other cybersecurity specialists, but it can also be used in OSINT for nickname enumeration, collecting site information, and extracting data from html pages (links, emails, bitcoin addresses, etc),

As a supplement to the Medium article, I made a repository on Github where I collected a couple dozen Nuclei templates that contain regular expressions for extracting different data.

Gravatar in OSINT

The Gravatar article describes the famous "profile by MD5 hash" trick and how to get the profile data in JSON format, and explains the example code in Google Apps Script that lets you load the Gravatar profile data into the Google Sheet based on a long list of emails.
6 tips for working with presentations and video reports in foreign languages

And finally, a small selection of services to help you read presentations and watch video reports in languages you don't understand well.
Thank you very much for your attention! I hope to send you another letter in 2-3 weeks. There will be new threads, articles, as well as updates to the main collection and map. Again, thank you so much for staying with me!
