  1. Goverment data in OSINT

A thread with examples of how open government data can be useful in OSINT was made last summer. But I recently added a new item there - “Planning permission applications”. With the example of the open database for the UK, it's clear to see how informative these public records can be.

  1. Streamlit for OSINT tools

Streamlit is a library that allows you to turn any script into a web application with minimal effort.

It was originally developed to create dashboards for visualizing different data. Streamlit is also actively used at HuggingFace in Spaces to test different neural networks.

In this short article I show how Streamlit can be useful for refining OSINT tools and how this library is extremely easy to use.

To test Streamlit, I used Maigret's famous nickname enumeration tool (8K stars on Github). Its author, developer and OSINT enthusiast Soxoj finally started a Subsctack newsletter too!

Thank you very much for your attention! I hope to send you another letter in 2-3 weeks. There will be new threads, articles, as well as updates to the main collection and map. Again, thank you so much for staying with me!
